Warmup of 30 then 15 burpees.

L2D2: Times for the rounds were:

R1 32s; R2 30s; R3 29s; R4 30s and R5 30s.

Today I did a 30 burpee warmup then....

L2D3 Total time was 1min 42secs.

Pullups 9, 1, 1, 1, 1. My forearms didn't want to know!! I think I should've warmed my arms up properly too.

The pushups and squats I did without pausing.

Don't know whether to do L2 again until I can do all the pullups without stopping....I'll have a think about that one!

I felt ok so I had a 5 minute rest then did L2D3:

Pushups and squats I did without pausing. Time taken was 1 minute 28 seconds.

I did a circuit of just over 30mins, alternating 12 burpees, 3 pullups and 5 pushups.

I increased the burpees to 12 and reduced the pushups to 5, but did normal, wide, diamond, hindu pushups and dips alternately.

I completed 23 rounds which amounted to:

276 burpees

69 pullups

115 pushups/dips etc

3 x 15 reverse crunches

3 x 5 bridge pushups

I weighed myself a couple of hours after my workout having fed and watered and my weight was dead on 77kgs (about 170lbs). I last weighed myself on May 6th when I was 80kg (roughly 176lbs). I have lost approximately 6lbs in 8days which is damn good methinks. The scales I use are electronic so are pretty accurate! I put it down mainly to the number of burpees I've done since I started working out regularly again.....1,437 since 23rd April.

I should also say that my diet is improving too...I've almost eliminated white bread and most processed/packaged foods. If I have pasta I only eat fresh stuff and drink lots of water!!

Thursday May 12th:

A 14 round circuit of 10 burpees, 3 pullups then 10 pushups. Had to stop after 14 as I felt a pain in my right shoulder...before I'd have carried on but I've ended up have to stop training all together as a result!

140 burpees

42 pullups

140 pushups

3 x planks @ 1min

3 x 50 flutter kicks (25/leg)

Stretching exercises. I worked out while I was watching the film
