Thanks!

Well, I'm at 135 lbs. now, and hovering near the 134 mark. This is without any cardio for almost 3 weeks.

Level 8 Day 1: First Attempt

I made it to 17 rounds. This one is tough, and is the equivalent of Crossfit's "Cindy".

Fire Dept. Fitness Assessment

Part of this measured pushups... I asked what the record was....She didn't know, but the maximum measurement is 75, and no one has ever done it. So, I then proceeded to bust out 75. My body fat was 8.6%, and my weight was 136... Simplefit works. Period. P.S. I'm aiming for 100 at...

Update

Well, I'm on the verge of 135 lbs now. I have been hovering at the 136.2 mark for a couple of weeks. I cut my running way down. Shin splints were killing me. I'll only run on grass from now on. No more treadmills!

Level 7 Day 3: Take 2

40 pullups
80 pushups
80 squats

Done in approx 11 minutes. :?

I was so damned pissed off that I couldn't get it under 9 minutes, I took a 2 minute break and busted out 20 more pullups and 20 pushups consecutively.

Happy Weight and Some Advice

Well, it seems as if my body is really content at the 138-140 pound mark. I am healthier and stronger than I have ever been. My waist size is a 30, and men's medium shirts are very comfortable to wear. I am not going to beat myself into the ground to get to 130-135 pounds. At 5' 5", I feel great. I ...

L7 Day 1: Take 2

Second attempt at Level 7 day 1: 22 Rounds in 20 Minutes
:D
Also, It seems as if my body is happy at the 138-140 pound mark. My waist size is a 30, and as long as I watch my sodium intake and drink lots of water, my definition is very, very good. 8)

I'm Baaack!

Been off the forum for awhile, but I'm still making good strides.
I'm currently at 140 lbs! :D
I really didn't want to go below 140, but I'm definitely headed that way. I'll be content at 135, and, by the way, I am stronger than ever!

Crossfit doesn't seem out of reach now...

I'm Baackk!

I've been off the forum for awhile, but I haven't quit the program!

I just finished Level 7 Day 3 in 9 minutes and 33 seconds. Yeah, I know it's not 5 minutes, but it's hella tough!

Level 6 Day 3

Dammit! This one is hella tough to get done in under 5 minutes. I didn't make the 5 minute mark, so I am stuck on Level 6 for another week.

145 lbs now.
This is how much I weighed when I began my firefighting career 15 years ago. I was 135-140 in high school, when I played alot of basketball, so I am very close to where I want to be. I don't think that I want to get below 140 lbs. If I get more defined before warm weather, I'll be fine.

I agree with VBM. Doing full range of movements like squats involves the calves. This is the beauty of Simplefit. The simple, compound exercises involve most, if not all of the muscles in your body. There is no need, in my opinion, to do target-specific exercises, such as calf raises. For example, i...
