I think the last 20 were easy just because mentally I wanted to be done. If I just bust these out, I can stop. Yeah it hurts, but if I stop that only delays my agony. Plus, I saw that I was at like 13:20 and I thought if I go straight I can beat 15 minutes. In the middle, like 30-70, you are hurting...

Wow, that sucked

I tried this last night. I had never actually done a burpee before. After 10, I didn't think I was going to get to 50. Somehow I got to 80 and the last 20 were the easiest. Overall time was better than expected at 14:27. I think I can get to 10 minutes with a little practice and better pacing.

Getting back into it.

I was hitting simplefit pretty hard for about 2 months and I developed a popping noise and knee pain while doing the squats. Turned out to be an overuse injury from inadequate recovery and poor squat form. So I decided to take some time off. I've been cycling and running and doing a normal weight ro...

Week 3 of level 2. Day 2 workout in 3:41. Pretty solid improvement over last week. still have a few aches and soreness from the squats. I think a rest week is in order before leveling up.

Yeah, I was just trying it out for fun.

I've been going Mon-Wed-Fri for the simplefit, It seems like it would be tough to fit this one in the schedule very regularly.

wow you are making great progress. how do you feel this will impact you tri-ing. have you been dropping any body weight  if its ok to ask I'm down a few pounds from Christmas, but that could just be from not eating so many Christmas treats. As far as Triathlon, I don't think it will make much...

After my Day 1 workout today I tried a couple rounds of the dumbbell bear. I've never really done any of the exercises, but I could not get 1 round finished with 45% of my BW (2x45 dumbells). I was able to do a couple rounds with 2x30lb, but no way I'm getting 20 rounds.

I was going to drop back to level 1 for a week after my poor workout on Friday, but Level 1 and level 2 have the same number of pullups anyway. I figured I do another shot at L2D1 and if I had a hard time, I'd take the rest of the week easy. I ended up making some killer progress - 31 rounds!! (up f...

wow, cross one off the list already. Last time I tried a straight set of pushups, I BARELY made 20. Last night on a whim, I cranked out 30 straight perfect form pushups!

I guess my new goal is 40 straight pushups.

Getting close! It would seem speed is as much of a factor as strength as the levels progress. You don't have time for any rest to get all those reps in 5 minutes.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I think I am going to drop back to L1 next week. I actually felt a lot stronger on day 1 this week and then it seemed to go downhill as the week went on. Technically I should be ready for L3, so you think I should go up to level 3 after my rest, or redo L2 for 1 more we...

l2d3 - 3:56 Holy crap, what happened? My time was faster overall, but I could NOT pullup today. I had horrible form and had to kick to get up over the bar. I could not even do 4 in a row to start so it was: 3-3-2-2-1-1-1 for the pullups. I have a stiff back today and feel like I might be coming down...

You are doing great. Pull ups look like they are progressing nicely. I noticed you mentioned on one day that all were pullups and one chinup. I think it is ok to mix grips all you want. My last L2D1 workout, I switched grips every 5 rounds. I think it is good to mix it up because it works slightly d...
