My lead knee, which had been giving me some niggling pain all week, started to really hurt. And then like the savvy athlete (read: goof) that I am, I said ...

I'm with you on that. Four years ago I went though hell. Family member dying, assaulted in the street, job loss and lawsuit (over parents will). Working out fell off the radar. But, I learned to look at my life in big chunks instead day to day. How have you improved over the last 5 - 10 years... don...

My mom always said; "No such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing." Our trainers are gleefully waiting for MORE snow s...

Thanks. My new motto is: Just show up. I'm not even concerned about the "just do it"... if you show up, the rest will take care of itself. It has been longer than I thought to get back to some semblance of where I once was. But I have truly learned a lot along the way (oh my gawd I'm going to end up...

Stick with it. I did and it paid off. The first few weeks you will be finding the right pace and timing. Consistency is the key to progress with this program.

Thank you Kevin, Cheapo, Volleyballman, ucffool, splint, scumdogg, zorg and the whole SimpleFit community. When I joined SimpleFit I was 40lbs overweight... the heaviest I had ever been, and after a lifetime of being a competitive athlete, this was so hard for me. My friends kept telling me I "looke...

Mind if I cut and paste it and send it to my friends? PS: I moved towns and am at a new Crossfit. Fantastic place with instructors who are real trainers/coaches, not just someone who did a weekend cert. Accordingly, my fitness level has shot way up. (and we spend a lot of time just laughing... good ...

Dance is fantastic. Seems like you've got it together on that front. Ultimate frisbee is good if you've never done organized sport because it has a really inclusive atmosphere. There are lots of fun leagues.

PS: Nice having another female on the site!
