Eating delicious cakes trains the jaw muscles a lot, so you are used to a good workout :P

Good luck with SF

Overtraining risk?

Today i started running again. I didn't run in more than six months (rainy winter...) but the start wasn't that bad, 4km on the hills (ok, for professional runners maybe it sucks, but for starters i've done a lot worse :P) The question is, i'll try to do 3 days of running and 3 days of SF. I did som...

1 minute per rep in D1 is ok, you can work on small improments, when you are at ~26+ you usually can do D3 under 5mins (personal experience of me and others on the forum) The 30+ reps you see on the forum or the log comparer are the reps of those doing the rest week with a level much lower than theirs

It's strange that you can do that many pullups all toghether at level 4... Good for you, i think that what you do is a form of kipping, but if you start swinging maybe it means that some energy goes wasted in a useless motion (forward instead of upward) Could it be that you are raising your legs? Th...

Back on track with bad numbers and a lot of improvement to do again... Week 4/5 L4 Day1 26 rounds -New personal record, 2 more than last week. But it was a small joy knowing i had to remove a tooth from inside my jaw bone in just a few hours :D So.... After a week on antibiotics and painkillers... (...

For D2 if the problem was tired muscles and not pain i would suggest resting a bit more during sets and trying to do the real pullups (if you can do 2 once you can do 2 again after some rest) But the elbow pain really sucks :( I have had problems with knee pain on squats after the forced rest week i...

With my setup (indoor bar) i can do only chinups, the door frame doesn't allow me to have a good movement range with other grips :(

Now i feel guilty for being at level 4 :P

Any progress is good progress.

Focus on training on the pullups the best you can, those are the most difficult but most rewarding to improve :D

I think that focusing on doing real pullups (or chinups) is the best not only for training but also for personal satisfaction :P
