What do you find hardest in SimpleFit?

I find the pull ups killing, I read in someone elses post that pushups were their limiting factor... so, what do you find hardest?

With a lower bar I think you'll find this easier (bring it down to just over head hight...)

But what the hell do I know ;)

Simplefit requires reading ability!

So, my Day 1 was kicking my ass today - much worse than normal.

Afterwards I looked more closely at what I was reading - oops! I'd unintentionally slipped up a level... and naturally put in a rather dismal performance.

So, the moral? READING ability is Important!

You were bloody close in that last video snippet! Have tried working from a lower bar so that you can practice the top part of the lift without wearing out on the getting yourself off the ground part?

I started with a lower bar by mistake and I have to say I think it helped... ymmv of course.

I've been pseudo following the zone since I started Simplefit. I.e. I took the principles and try to stay close to them without all the measuring stuff (too tedious). Honestly, I'm not sure if it is the diet or the excercise but I feel great. And it's getting better all the time. Now, if I could jus...

Heh, thanks folks. Yeah, I'm not that depressed about it - after all I can actually *see* the benefits of the simplefit workout :D (thanks Kevin!)

It's just irritating not to meet goals (I'm a perfectionist who hates not managing what I set out to do)!

Wooohoooo. Just completed L2D2 with only a slight grumble from the elbow.

But good god, those ring pushups really take it out of me - cripes. Extended my time to 22 minutes :/

Fingers crossed if I'm careful I can now get back on track... thanks for the support everyone!

I find it much easier to do pull-ups (assuming you can do 2+) when I alternate lifting my head in-front and behind the bar (with my hands in the same position). I guess it just uses slightly different muscles or something but I can get almost twice as many when I do it that way... strangely I can th...

Hmmm, now that you mention that - indeed, it does seem to be true that I have less issues when I do ring push ups. Now that I think about it I did 10 this morning without noticing my elbows - I'm apt to forget things that didn't go wrong  Cool. Thanks - guess I'll just stick to the rings for t...

Welp, still working on this one... I'm pretty sure now it's actually the push ups that are causing me the problems. Been working on the pull-ups and I've reached 4 sets of 4 full extension :D Move to pushups and my elbow fails after 5... yes, 5. At least I've learnt stop and recuperate when that hap...
