L2D2 today: Just under 16 mins total (with 12 mins rest - 3 mins between each set) so just under 4 mins total for all the sets. That's an improvement, though I did really focus on speed today while still maintaining form during the reps. The pullups seemed a little easier than last time too.

After another unexpected layoff (though I did some light cardio and burpees since the last SF workout) I'm back for more.

L2D1 - 23 rounds

2 less than last time, but I was able to do dead hang pullups with my chin going all the way over the bar up until the last 2 rounds. That's the most yet.

What I do for day 2 is this: Check my start time. Time the 3 mins between sets w/ a stop watch. Check my end time. Subtract 12 (total rest) from the total time. That gives me an idea of how long the 5 sets took. Some people like to time each set to see if they slow down or not. I'm more interested i...

Stayed on track this week:

Sat 9/4: L2D2 - About 16 mins total with 12 mins rest (3 between each set).

Tues 9/7: L2D3 - 6 mins even.

Staying on Level 2 for another week.

Hi James,

Were you doing 3 sub pullups for each pullup? If so, then you should be fine and just continue to work up to doing a real pullup.

What kind of sub were you doing?

After a good start last week I was not able to get to day 3 within the week. Starting again at day 1 today.

L2D1 - 25 rounds.

6 more rounds than last time. I'm noticing it's easier to get my chin over the bar now to. At least til about round 10 or so.

Keeping on track this week:

L2D2 - took 16 mins total with 12 mins of rest (3 mins between rounds), so the exercises themselves took about 4 mins total. I'm happy with that.

Took a longer break than expected. The 1st off week I did burpees and some other cardio workouts. Last week I was sick and very low energy so I took another break. Got back into the program today.

I'll take a rest week this week focusing on cardio and get back to L2 next week.

Thanks Ruli! L2D1 - 21 rounds. My cardio is crap. The strength is there but I run out of gas. I'm doing full range of motion dead hang pullups (with a negative) all the way through. Pushups are no problem and the squats feel better now. But I'm huffing and puffing after about 8 minutes. I do pace my...

Thanks for the encouragement guys! Ruli, I think I'm already addicted to SF. :)

Week 2: L1D1 - 22 rounds.

Better this week. I think my leg strength has balanced out some. The squats are not so bad and have been taken over by the pullups as the toughest exercise to stay consistent on.
