First workout back. Starting at Level 2:

L2D1 = 14 rounds*

*I did the workout yesterday and just realized this morning before posting that D1 is supposed to be for 20 minutes. For some reason I thought it was for 10, so I'll be sure to get it right next time around!

3 Weeks In: Definitely stronger and I'm continuing to lose a little weight. The key word is "little". I'm struggling with nutrition. I've cut out most grains and junk except beer. I haven't even cut back at all. I know that this is what is ultimately in the way of progress so I need to focus hard on...

I've been traveling quite a bit lately so my workouts have slipped a bit....oh, wait - nevermind! That is the excuse I would use prior to finding simple fit. I was able to do all of my workouts while on the road. I found a park by the hotel with a suitable bar for pullups and did L1D2 and L1D3. 5:48...

2 Weeks In:

I'm feeling changes! I feel stronger and have more energy. I've even dropped some lbs. I was at 198 this morning! I am now on L2 and I'm looking forward to the challenge.

L2D1 yesterday evening. Managed to eek out 25 rounds. I really ran out of gas with 7 minutes to go. I did my best to finish strong. I subbed body rows after the 6th round. All in all I'm pretty happy with the progress. I can't get over how straight forward this whole process is. Loving it.

I had to sub the last 5 pull ups (3=1), but the fact that I actually did 5 legit pull ups in a row is still blowing my mind!

I believe I will attack L2 next week.

L1D2 yesterday afternoon. I was able to do 3 sets without using substitute pull ups. Almost done with my second week and I'm feeling much stronger! Judgement Day tomorrow morning...

So today was L1D1 again...and once again it dropped the hammer on me. I pumped out a solid 18 rounds and then struggled through another 14 using substitute pull ups (3 jump/slow let down = 1 pull up). It was hard to maintain proper form but totally worth it. Fired away on judgement day a bit early. Finished L1D3 in 5:31. I was very particular about my pull up form. Man, it's so much harder when you try to do them right!!!!

Week 1

L1D1 - 31 Rounds. Got pretty gassed with about 4 minutes left.

L1D2 - 2:47.

L1D3 - 3/12/2011 - will edit upon completion

Other Activity: Walked 18 holes of golf Sunday.
