Re: Tonia's Log

I couldn't log in the other day so here are the last two workouts: March 8/14 L5D2 3:1 chair assisted pullups (15) 2:17, 2:30, 2:20, 2:24, 2:24 for a total of: 11 minutes 55 seconds. That's pretty good considering I did 50% more assisted pull-ups than last time. WOOT. PROGRESS. Love it. March 10/14 ...

Re: Tonia's Log

Woot! Loving this roll I'm on.

I did level 5, day 1 today.
So in 20 minutes I did 18 rounds of:
3:1 (that's more!) chair assisted pull-ups (so 9 per round, total of 162)
push-ups x 5 (total of 90)
Squats x 8 (total of 144)

TADA!!

How y'all doing?

Re: Tonia's Log

Oh Boy! I'm excited to be here. It has been years, far too long. I just wrote a blog article about how I miss these workouts, so I decided to publically get back into them. Here is the link if anyone is interested: http://drtoniawinchester.com/how-to-get-fit-in-less-than-an-hour-per-week/ Today I di...

Re: Tonia's Log

I found something that actually makes my abs sore. Ready? Okay it involves me, first off. Next, some sort of surface, ideally flat, and where gravity would normally put "the ground." Third, swiss ball. You see where this is going? Stick with me, it might not be what you think. Next, my old friend th...

I've seen studies showing that more abdominal muscle fibers are engaged during squats than crunches. Do squats on a rebounder! It challenges the core even more. You can also get a swiss ball or those half balls (round part on the ground) or those circular discs that are flat but filled with a couple...

shaking/wondering what the wedding in 4 mos were U thinking?

Hello all! So I'm experiencing what we in the biz call fatigue. As I was sitting here watching the Biggest Loser, having already rebounded while I was waiting for my supper to cook, I thought what were those taramata something something that I used to do on simple fit? Tabata! RIGHT!! So... I did fo...

Okay right... I thought I would try a brief fly by post... but who am I kidding? And actually this morning, I had little time (20 minutes in fact) but still wanted to get my five-day-a-week-exercise on, so I pulled up the ol' simplefit workouts. I started on level 4 and did 7 rounds. I felt, however...

Hi! Yes. It's been awhile. Hi Brad. Hi Kevin. Andy, you still around? Hi! Oy! I have to admit I've been seeing other fitness programs. It's true. I mixed it up, kept it fresh. Lets see, what have I done since I stopped posting on simplefit... Most relevantly I'm consistently down to my lowest weight...

Hello. The view is quite something up here from level 3. Wow. Three months ago, I never would have thought I would actually enjoy/crave doing zillions of push-ups in a day, nor claim to be able to do one consecutive pull-up, but here I am. Here I am. Soo.... W11:L3:D1 - 21 rounds. I seriously need s...
