Starting from the beginning also gives you the sense of micro achievements. If you jump straight in at the higher level and fail to make the standard it can be a bit disheartening. End of the day if you embrace SF as a new way of life, whats 2 to 4 weeks on the general scheme of things? I pretty muc...

Pullups vs Chinups - Exercise Selection

Hate to say it, but vanity is playing a large part in selection here. Aesthetically speaking, chin-ups are more beneficial right? Just wondering why pullups are generally favoured over chins? How many simple fitters switch in chins instead of pullups? Anyhow, would be nice to hear some reassurances ...

Really nice numbers. Have you made any modifications to SF? I've been dabbling in this routine over the last few years and pretty much hovered around level 6 almost 7. Lost motivation several times, decided in my wisdom to modify the activities a few times... burned out doing diamond pushups / close...

Test Day

Pushup Variant: Diamond
Pullup Variant: Close Grip Chinup
Squats Variant: Regular

Test Day to re-establish current level:
D3L3: 4:12 - Level 3 standard complete.

Will return on level 4.. assuming I can find a pullup bar in the states!

Best time on level 6 is 5:33, so will hopefully progress to 7 shortly!

Thrown in kettlebell work on offdays for additional conditioning.... losing spare weight does wonders for the pullups, feel so effortless (initially! !)
