Oh I also did my C25K run on Sunday. My performance wasn't great, 2.17 miles at a 10:11 pace. But this was Week 3 of doing it and it was the first week where you run for 3 minutes straight instead of the 90 second bursts. I find if I rush and dont pay attention I tend to push more with my legs than pull up with my arms. Might explain why I did round 5 quicker than round 4. Week 4 L1D1 / 2012-01-23 I managed to eek out 41 rounds today. Did the first 4 pull-ups clean, kipped for 2 more, and then used assistance for the rest of them. I think for Week 5 and 6 I am going to work on doing negatives for as long as I can hold them and see if that helps kick me over the hump ...

Oh is the goal to just do it in under 5 minutes without assistance? I guess that's good to know, I just really want to do 10 pull-ups in a row before moving on. We will see how today goes :)

Nice work! Great improvement. As for the running, I always try the next week before decided to stay at the same week for another round. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Nice work! Good job sticking to it and not putting it off. Those habits form quick and I try my best to avoid skipping days (even if I drink too much on a Sunday LOL). Great job getting that extra minute. That's a huge improvement.

Nice job for your first time on L1D3! Keep it up! :) You don't really need to do a whole lot honestly. IMHO most people go WAY overboard with their simple fitness plans and end up getting lost in the marketing machine. There are two rules I have followed in the past that have worked excellent for me...

I drank too much yesterday to do L1D1, so I will be doing it today. Which will make it back to back with my C25K run. And I still plan on doing L1D2 tomorrow.
