Interesting article. I've got one of those door-jamb pull up bars, so I can vary the width of my grip quite a bit as well as do the neutral grip pull ups like he mentioned in the article. I like mixing it up a bit anyway as it keeps me from burning out too early.
Ah, kipping pull ups make sense. That's still a huge amount of work though! I've always wanted to try those, but I've got a pull up bar that hangs on my door frame...don't think that'd work out too well
Yeah, I feel a little winded still when starting each new round. On level 6, my rest breaks were usually just under 2 minutes, but on level 7 I'm needing to take the full 3 minute break between rounds. I was hurting during rounds 4 and 5 today...I can tell I haven't been consistent with my workouts ...
