L5D1 16 rounds
Rings make pull-ups much tougher. I know in the long run they will help me strengthen all around so I don't mind the struggle.

Just received my rings yesterday. I thought I would try to do the workout using rings for pull-ups and diamond push-ups. This made the workout tougher. Felt good about it in the end.

Re: Barefootkilt's Log

L3D1 34 rounds.
I almost started into L5 and my arms reminded me that they needed a break, so not too far in, I switched gears and did L3D1. Four more rounds than the last time I was at L3.

L5D3 Total time 6:10 Pull-ups 12,4,3,2,2,2,1 Push-ups 30,15,6 Squats 41,10 That was a hard one. The pull-ups did me in and the last few were of poor form. The workout was a challenge and I look forward to revisiting and seeing the improvement next time. I have been pretty active of late, so I am goi...

Yep, you did a work out, you logged it, we see that you are back at it, now do another one. Won't be long before you have a bunch strung together and your muscles will remember what to do.

Re: Barefootkilt's Log

L5D2 I was supposed to pull this off yesterday but my wife forbade me. Yesterday I did a 5k in 25:33 that's an 8:13/mile average. Then I did a sprinting race (distance unknown approx 300-400 meters) where I pushed the equivalent of a rolling outhouse with an occupant, the radar had us topped out at ...

L5D1 22 rounds
Tough workout. It is hot out and I could feel the heat oppression. I prayed to make it to twenty rounds and made it to 21 because f#ck you. Then the timer went off while I was doing the first pull up on the next set so I completed the 22nd set because f#ck you…you.

Re: Barefootkilt's Log

L4D3 I went into this workout with some trepidation. My lower back was sore from doing an old fashioned hole digging last night. My town buried an anniversary time capsule and one of the residents saw me on the sidelines, threw me a shovel, and said with a grin "Start filling!" Who am I to argue. I ...
