I may try this.

Does anybody know if this type of cardio would fall under anaerobic or aerobic?

Cardio help

I'm looking for some cardio help. I have some experience running, I can run about 3 1/2 miles in about 35 minutes. My problem is that this isn't really helping me in my endurance for basketball. I play anywhere from 1 day up to 3 days a week. Will running sprints be better for basketball endurance? ...

I was able to do 2 real chin ups, the 3rd was kicking a little bit. I wasn't able to even do one pull up after that though. The rest of the pull ups were assisted.

I did push ups with sets of 15, 7, 4. Squats were straight through.

I seem to hover around the 7's for some reason. I can't gain much improvement on D2's.

First set was 3 real chin ups with some kicking help on the last one. The other pull ups were assisted.

Congrats on the progress. Don't sweat the pull ups, it's something a lot of us, including me struggle with. I couldn't do a single pull up or chin up when I started. I'm in my 6th week and now I can do 2 chin ups back to back and about eye level on a pull up. There is some good info on working on pu...

Welcome back, to keep track of my rounds, I use a pad and pen.

I would suggest trying level two and not worrying about your time. I think you need to change your routine a little bit so you #1 don't get bored and #2 the little change should shock your body enough to keep your progress going. I'm at level 2 and it's not too much harder than level one. Have you h...

<spreads hands really wide apart> The cheering crowd is ready when you are... Thanks for that!! W6L2D1: 30 rounds!!!! As you can probably tell, I'm pretty damn excited. I had a good pace, I had 15 rounds done with about 9 1/2 mins left. I tried not to check the time, but I was at 27 rounds with 1 m...

W5D3L2: 4:22 I stopped my watch because my youngest son wanted to do some pull ups and I forgot to reset my watch halfway through my pull ups, so I don't know how accurate the time is. I let the clock run to 2 mins before I started my push ups and squats, so I'll see next week if the time is close t...

I've never tried the inclined push ups, so I'll give this a chance and post my results.

W5D2L2 7:29 This was the first week where I didn't improve over my previous week's time. I think it's cause of the time I took off last week. I didn't do any workout for 10 days. The break helped my day 1 time, but I was sore from the squats and I'm never sore from the squats. I am still a little so...

I didn't realize how important good shoes were either. I just bought some running shoes and got shin splints. I went to a good running store and got fitted and no more shin splints.

K9, Check out this link: http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml It's a couch to 5k running routine, I did it about 8 weeks ago and it goes at a good slow pace. I think I started at week 3 cause I was already a little active. I don't run more than 3.3 miles now, but it's a lot easier than ...

I would use a shorter bar. With my head just over the bar, I am on my toes. So, when I get tired in my workouts, I assist myself with my toes and lower as slow as I can without assisting myself. Pull ups are easier for me. I can do 2 of those in a row now with not so perfect form. I can get about ey...
