Re: sol2k's log

L1D1: 12 reps

Substituted pull-ups with 1-leg assisted pull ups x3.
It's still hard, but not as hard as working out in the morning for me.
I just keep telling myself "be patient".

Re: sol2k's log

Still on saddle. L1D3: 6:25 (3min rest between sets, total 21 mins) L1D3: 6:10 Almost all pull-ups has to be substituted by Aussie pull-ups, aka body rows, or 1 legged assisted. Might have made a small mistake. Thought subs had to be 2x of the prescribed amount. Turns ...

Re: sol2k's log

Back on the saddle!
D1L1: 19 rounds

Pull-ups are horrible. Had to substitute with Aussie pull-ups around round 8.

Re: franklymydarling's log

... the stopwatch, but I did 20 pushups instead of 12 ... not focused. Monday, Lvl 4, D3, 6:14. I used a combination of 3 reps then 2 reps for the pull-ups. It seemed to work well. The last 3-2 set was kipped out and strained. I'm going to focus on this going forward. Push-ups were 15,11,10,5.

Re: franklymydarling's log

Lvl 4, D3, 7:11 Pull: 4,4,4,2,2,2,2 Push: 18,10,9,4 (best guess, it added up when I did them) Squats: 41 I figured I could do 5 sets of 4 pull-ups in 2 minutes (30 second per rep with ...

Re: franklymydarling's log

... hard to balance your energy and enthusiasm within the time constraint. Squats were hard because my legs were already pretty tired from the day. (Pull-ups: 6,5,3,3,3; push-ups: 21,10,10; squats: 41 nonstop)

Re: bsaeagle84's log

Great work! Row are great, something I wish I could incorporate into my routine. Try negative pullups, they really work. Basically, you jump into a pullups and let your weight gently pull you down. That way your working your two major upper body muscle groups. You can ...

Re: franklymydarling's log

Busy week ... Anyway, lvl 4, d3, 7:18. Slipped again, I'm looking forward to rest week to regroup. Pull-ups are slow because I'm going harder: 9,4,2,3,2. There were a few that had a bit of kip to them, though. Pushes are still 21,10,10. Tried to desktop go deep squats, no stop as usual.

Re: franklymydarling's log

Stretched last night, today, lvl4, d1, 24 reps. Pull ups were hard, push ups were easy. Always tough coming back from rest week, especially since really emphasized stretches the night before.
