Yup, know that feeling all too well! I'm playing tennis this weekend and I know that's how I'm going to feel the next day.

Thanks brichm01. I'm keen to do SF the 'proper' way so will try to include the correct pull-up. The reason I used the neutral grip was that the squats and pull-ups were coming along far more easily and I wanted a more consistent development on all levels. I could always develop my own levels which i...

I think if I tried a proper pullup I'd be back on L1 for weeks! that's my thinking as well, but u must remember - pull-ups is the real thing and you must strive to that. I tried a couple last night, that's when I realised I'd be back to L1! If the bar wasn't so ugly then I'd leave it up all the tim...

L3D2: Untimed - focusing on form. Pullups were ok although I'm still using neutral grip. I think if I tried a proper pullup I'd be back on L1 for weeks! Pushups were good, I tried to keep them steady and not rely too much on gravity on the down part. Squats were fine. I did these nice and slow so as...

Very tired this morning after a long week and a big wedding at the weekend.

So, L3D1: 19 rounds.

All in all, pretty happy with that. The extra pull-up wasn't as bad as I'd feared. Press-ups and squats were fine.

I remember my first week on SF (not that long ago). I had very sore chest muscles for a few days after D1! Don't have that problem now.

Good work Orly.

I'm quite keen on trying the running programme so I'll be interested to see how you get on!

Ruli, please be careful. I've tried the whole "coming back from injury before I'm fully healed" thing before and it just laid me out for longer when the injury flared up again.

Having said that, 31 reps! nice work. I'm sure you'll be sub 5min on D3.

Cheers Ruli!

It looks like I'm not going to be able to stick to weekly routines for the next month or so: weddings, holiday, busy at work.

It's going to be a case of fitting a routine in when I can.

Looking forward to trying L3, I'm sure that extra pull-up is going to be a killer!

L2D2 - untimed

L2D3 - 3:29

Was amazed by this. The pullups (still neutral-grip) were slower than usual, but then I did 26 pushups in one go which I hadn't been able to do previously.

Squats are fine.

L3 next week and then a rest week as I'm going on a walking holiday for 3 days.

I did a 12 mile walk on Sunday which really did knacker my legs so I missed my Monday morning run. Oops

Anyway, SF this morning, one more week on L2:

L2D1: 28 reps

Quite satisfying as the pullups (albeit neutral grip) and pushups are beginning to feel easier.

Ruli, glad to hear that you feel that you're making progress (despite the injury). Personally, I love timing my runs as I'm always amazed by the progress I seem to be making. It's incredibly satisfying to know you did better than last time. Hope the elbows clears up soon so you can start beating you...

I like that approach. I think L3 will be quite a step up.

One more week on L2 it is then!

L2D3 - 4:02.

Very surprised by this!

Form faded a bit on pullups on last 2, but on the whole were good.

Level up?
