OK, stuck with level 1, was lucky as I didn't feel too good I think I'm getting a cold. I managed 27 reps again but only 6 of the reps were negative pull-ups. I used a longer towel which put me way past 45 degrees so pushed it a bit more anyway. I also slowed myself down and focussed on form on all ...

Oh Man, I manage L1D3 in 4:58. I am finding the Negative Pull-ups HARD  I only managed 8 in total through out the 30 subs and they destroyed my time. With body-rows I only managed to complete the pull-up section in 3 minutes and the neg pull-ups destroyed me for the push ups. Is it definitely ...

I completed Level 1 Day 2 in 6:10. My times have taken a hit from using the negative pull-ups instead of all body rows but I am definitely feeling the extra burn from doing more negative pull-ups. Round 1 - 3 neg pull-ups, body rows, 6 push ups and 10 squats Round 2 - 3 neg pull-ups, body rows, 6 pu...

That is similar to this one which I ordered.

This type of bar puts the pull up bar higher than door frame which can help if your taller or are working from a stool etc.

I chose the Powerbar as it folds flat and can hang in a wardrobe though.

I decided to do level one again this week after all. D1 - 26 reps I dropped 1 rep from last week, but, I did the first 10 reps with 3 reverse pull-ups to sub the 1 pull-up and then did a couple of chin-ups and for the remaining reps I did 3 body rows for each push up. I am going to continue for the ...

Thanks for the help guys. I have done my second full week last week, check my logs for more details (went snow boarding in between) this was at level 1. I completed day one with 27 reps and I was quite surprised that the three times I have done day one I have improved each time. I am doing 3 body ro...

I did only day 1 & 2 in my second week as I had to leave for snowboarding on the Friday then couldn't find a place to do my exercises in the apartment we stayed in at the resort but to be honest got quite a decent workout all week. I then got straight back into it when i got back home which was this...

Neilfensteins Log

Hello, I am just starting out and have asked a question in the training section that may change how I am doing things but am quite happy and am pleased with what i have done so far. L1 D1 - 22 reps (about half and half pull-ups/body rows (3 for each pull-up I would have done)) L1 D2 - 5.16 with a re...

Pull up question

I started last week and have added my log to the progress tracker and have just completed my second day one. I have never been able to do many if any pull-ups so I do a little jump and pull the rest of the way, I then lower myself as slowly as I can. I mix this with 3 body rows. I found body rows to...

Hello all new to SF, couple of questions

Hello, I have been reading the forum etc quite a bit and feel I am pretty familiar with the concept so far. Seems like a great bunch of people and a good level of support, I hope to get started soon. I am currently waiting on the delivery of a door pull up device. I only have a small house and only ...
