24/08/2010 L4 - D1 Week 34

Bit of rush tonight as I was late starting and think I let the form slip slightly but not too much.

Managed 25 reps though so not too bad.

Re: G-Money's Log

That's a great D3! Your approach is one I have considered and as I have said each to their own! My only suggestion would be to try and keep a track of what your doing to be able to successfully track progress! I struggled with pull ups and tracking my progress is the only thing that helped me know I...

Re: Jefferson's Log

Hey doing good there!

Just a question, are you doing 3 jump pull ups for each pull up?

You may get slower results but faster gains!

If you are doing 3 kudos! Your fast lol!

Welcome to simplefit! I am a primal blueprint forum lurker but started here first! That's a solid first attempt ! You will get along fine at that rate. You may find D2 & 3 easy but stick with the weeks as they are set out, leveling each week if necessary until you find the level that you can't beat ...

Re: Neilfensteins Log

21/08/2010 L4 - D3 6.42.7! Great result! Over 2 minutes faster than last week. My fastest D3 at level 4, I'm happy that my recent focus on form has paid off and feel really happy I'm back on track! Still finding the push ups mega hard! My endurance is low, I'm still massively spent after the pull u...

Re: Slacke's Log

Doing really great, it's good to do each level I think it only take a week and you know for sure when you get to the week that makes you struggle with day 3!

You should crush D3 on lvl 1! Good luck!

Re: Ruli's Log

I totally agree with you observation about the ab workout, have been able to feel it the next day after workouts. I think I have been focusing on clenching my stomachs to improve the form on push ups but pull ups are quite hard to focus the abs but still give a good work out! Sounds like you are doi...

Re: Neilfensteins Log

18/08/2010 L4 - D2 Did these in 4.53.8, all rounds a couple of seconds faster than last week but with good ROM on pull ups (felt like a definite benefit from my recent focus on form). Still struggling with the best form push ups the endurance didn't appear to up there with the pull ups, but the pul...

16/08/2010 L4 - D1 week 33

I managed 24 rounds 1 better than last week. This was tough though I felt like I had absolutely no energy.

Still focusing on the best form I can, felt bad because of the energy thing but still better than a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Neilfensteins Log

Thanks, I will see how it goes in the coming week/s.

I am hoping that I generally improve all muscle in all areas of the ROM.

I need to improve endurance on D3 after the pull ups and the first 20 or so push ups my arms are like jelly!

I need more and better muscle!!

Re: Neilfensteins Log

13/08/2010 L4 - D3 8.50 :| Almost a minute slower than last week but all best form. The key is to hope to be faster next week, that will vindicate the extra time but show that my new goal of extra focus on form should pay off in the long run. Its effectively a change to my pace and the complete wee...

Re: Ruli's Log

Nice! I think your working the same way I have decided to go which is kind of "it will take as long as it takes" and I definately feel like keeping strict form has helped me engage more muscles which in the long run can only help. Good luck for D3 anyway! Until L 4 I found the closer you get to 4 mi...

Re: Neilfensteins Log

11/08/2010 L4 - D2 Timed but, again focussing on very strict form! Really felt the extra burn in my core and shoulders from keeping the form, I am definately going to continue to focus on form and worry less about reps and time and I bet that the rest will come along again soon enough. I think the ...

Re: ommmmaggie's log

I substituted for body rows starting almost vertical with a towel on my pull up bar. I slowly moved my feet forward through the door over time to make it harder. I then bought adjustable rings for my pull up bar and lowered until I was doing horizontal body rows. I found horizontal body rows were wh...
