Honeycrisps are the BEST. They are found from Washington to Florida (confirmed in FL and CO). However, 2 years ago, they were around for maybe a month. Some people do add a weighted vest, but I wouldn't do that till maybe level 5. If you are at level 4 or less, I would continue without.
