Another level up for me. Next week level 4! Well actually the week after that since I'm doing level 1 or 2 next week according to the workout schedule.

Since I read somewhere on the forums that the day 2 and day 3 workouts should ideally take about 15 minutes, I've decided to advance to level 4 next week.

Hehe, I assume anyone running Linux can simply grep -s * or whatever it is they do. Maybe write their own little open source thingee in binary. ;)

Timing software

Here are some links for stopwatch & countdown applications that I found strewn across the forum and the web. I thought I'd pool them all in one thread for convenience. They're all freeware except when noted. Windows PizzaTimer: http://ant4.com/PizzaTimer/download.html (countdown only) XNote Stopwatc...

4 years of persistent training

Check this guy out. Here's his site. There's pictures of his progress in profile as well, but the section is currently disabled because the link was featured on a few big sites (I saw it on reddit). He seems to be more of a body builder (especially towards the end) than someone who's striving for fu...

Thanks! I guess it has a lot to do with the fact that I drove myself further on level 2, squeezing in a few more reps although I thought I might burst a lung. The key is to challenge yourself, and the stopwatch is a great tool for that.

I'm movin' up…

Seems like I'm in better shape than I thought I was. I once again finished day 2 (level 2 this time) in under 5 minutes. So next week, level 3!

Introduction

Hi guys. It seems like the admin (Kevin?) is pulling up a real community of fitness newbies like myself here. So I figured it would be a nice idea to introduce ourselves. I'll get the ball rolling with myself. My name is Mirko, I'm 23 years old and I live in Switzerland. I was born here, but I lived...

Running through the woods

A while ago I was reading texts by a kung fu student. He briefly touched on how to improve stamina and reflexes by running through the woods. So I hydrated myself and did just that today for my cardio workout. It's certainly more taxing than just jogging along the trails. You have to watch your foot...
