Week 7 L1D3: 2 min 1 sec Also, yesterday I walked the dog for about 40 min (which I wouldn't normally log except) after that I rode my bike to the transit stop and then to my buddy's house up at the top of Mt. Tabor. And back. It was a leisurely ride, but I figure it counts because I've got to say m...

I moved to Montgomery from CA when I was 11 and lived there till I went to college at USA in Mobile. I left when it was time to get married and now we live in Oregon.

How about you?

This measurement is probably less relevant because I took it at a different time of day so the loss is probably water. But I want to start doing this in the morning (I think) so that's when I'm going to do it today. Waist at bellybutton: 32 and 5/8 inches Weight: 116 Hip: 38.5 inches Waist to hip ra...

Week 7 L1D2: 3 min 11 sec. I've been sore since I actually put some time and effort into my day 1 workout. I'm able to do this workout below time, but I think I want to stay on this level until I can do all my pullups smoothly and correctly. I can't get my chin up over the bar if my palms face away ...

Forgot to mention this is week 7. Next week I'll rest, but for now I feel great. This level may be too easy for me. The timing will tell by the end of the week.

Xtina's log

L1D1: I did 25 rounds, but I only devoted 12 minutes to it. I just wanted to get a log going today for motivational purposes. See you on Thursday.

Ok, I feel really stupid right now. Remember how I said I've been doing this workout for six weeks? Well, today I showed the site to a co-worker and it was the first time I noticed that day 3 does not say "five rounds." I've been doing five rounds of day 3 this whole time. This brings to mind a few ...

It's good advice, and I'm slowly starting to change my diet, but it's difficult because there are so many pitfalls - not the least of which are an uncooperative spouse and co-workers. But one of my co-workers is a former physical trainer and she's going to help me construct a diet plan that works fo...

Hi Xtina, Great to have you posting. As mentioned above you do not want to go to failure with push ups pull ups whatever you always want to stay 2-3 under failure you will progress more quickly this way. If the workout requires you to do 5 push ups and you are able to do 4 at one time if you went a...

Yeah, I had a rest week. I don't know if I was quite active enough, but I have no idea what the standard should be. I didn't want to overdo it, so I mainly just concentrated on walking more.

Thanks! The idea of using a step seems good. I wish I had a small bench near my pull up bar. Eh well. Thanks for the positive encouragement, maybe I'm not doing so bad after all. Yesterday I took breaks in between pullups, but there's no way I could have timed it because I jumped on here after the f...

Xtina's progress

I posted my first thread in the training forum about how I'm beginning to lose motivation, so I'm going to start posting my progress. June 5, 2007 Weight: 119 Waist at belly button: 33.25 inches Waist to hip ratio: I think it's .94 which puts me at elevated risk, but I'm not sure I measured it right...

Losing motivation

This is the first time I've posted to this forum. I've been doing this workout for about 6 weeks now, and I've noticed significant changes in my body, especially in my arms. I love the simplicity. The problem is, level one is still too hard for me. I admit, I have a hard time doing a full 20 min on ...
