Very nice! That's great progress on Level 6. I'm really impressed how quickly you are moving through this level.

L5 Week 6

This is a very big issue. I've said before that we need someone with twins to volunteer to raise one on simplefit alone and the other doing simplefit+. My inexpert sense is that rest is important. Staying injury-free and having a good time are also critical. That said, I do add some extra pull-up, c...

L5 Week 5

Thanks, brmc. It is interesting how much tougher the pulls are than the chins. This was a somewhat erratic week: L5D1 - 23 rounds -- A little off from the previous week, but feeling reasonably solid and consistent at about 50-55 seconds per round. L5D2 - 5:44 -- About the same as last week. The pull...

Re: Brmc72's log

I'm paddling that same boat, working to get back into a regular schedule. I like D2 best, so that is usually pretty easy to work in. D1 and D3 are more formidable so I have to get psyched up a bit more. That makes it easier to fall behind. Still, you're right on the cusp of Level 7, which is a huge ...

That's very solid. Keep up the great work. I'm also interested in how you are breaking up the sets.

Welcome on board.

That's a terrific start. You'll be up in the L4/L5 range in no time. Staying strict on form makes it particularly impressive.

Nice work!

L5 Week 4

L5D1 - 25 rounds -- Nice improvement over last week. Felt solid all the way through. Alternating pulls and chins. L5D2 - 5:40 -- 10 seconds faster than last week. All pulls and strict 3 min breaks. L5D3 - 15:20 -- Yikes! This was all about trying to do big sets. 8-7-6-5 all pull-ups, then 19-17-15 o...

Re: Brmc72's log

That's a huge performance for L6. The 60 second rest strategy is very interesting. It looks like you are pretty close to L7.

Re: JoJos Workout Log

I agree with your approach to D2. I'm always shooting for 1 minute per round. Until I can do that, I keep the breaks at 3 minutes. When I get down to 1 minute per round I'll take 30 seconds off of the breaks. I'll keep doing that until I level up or get all the way down to just 30 second breaks. Tha...

You're likely ready for L3, but I would still recommend working through the levels in order. You'll arrive at a level where it gets noticeably tougher soon enough.

L5 Week 3

L5D1 - 21 rounds. Same as last week, but felt a little stronger at the end. L5D2 - 5:50 Strict 3 minute breaks. Felt about the same as last week. I've got to speed up the push-ups L5D3 - 10:04. A struggle as usual. Took the opposite D3 strategy from last week. Last week I started with big sets and t...
