Running Log: Attempted Cool Running level 4 again... still couldn't do the whole 5 minutes jogging at a time thing, so I wound up having to rob peter to pay paul... but I did get in ALL the minutes of running I was supposed to do (16 minutes of running). I got it all in in just under 3 laps of the n...

207 and you can do 3 dead hang pullups in a row? I'd say you're in pretty good shape to start with. :) I weigh less than you do, and still can't even do one real pullup, but I'm getting closer.

How do you breathe when running?

I know that running isn't an official part of the simplefit program, but I figured someone here would know the answer anyway. Is there a "right" way to breathe when you're running/jogging? I'm imagining that you've got to keep your blood oxygenated, and if you've got enough oxygen, you might not tir...

Goodluckfox's progress

I'm thinking of doing monthly milestones

Waist:39 inches (down another inch, down 2.5" since start!)
Chest:40 inches (only just started measuring this
Weight: 198.4 pounds (only just started measuring this as well, but I bet I've lost ten pounds).

Here's looking forward to the next month.

Running report. I attempted to continue with Cool Running Level Four... but I just couldn't manage to jog for more than 3 minutes at a stretch. I wound up robbing Peter to pay Paul on those 5 minute jogging stretches... tacking on the time that I needed to run to get my workout in. I wound up doing ...

Shucks, that don't look hard. You're just talking about doing 1 "round" right? I could prolly start on L8. Sure, it'd take 6:40 to do (plus a little overhead) but you might not even work up a sweat since you're doing it so slow. Of course, I say that now, here in my air conditioned office at the law...

I took those tonight. So I've been working out for 6 weeks now. Supposedly I've lost an inch and a half of belly. I may have lost 10 pounds as well, but I didn't ahve a scale.

W7: L2D1

3 body rows, 3 pushups, 4 squats, repeat until 20 minutes or you die.

I got 24 rounds. Up 3 from last time, and more in line with what I've been doing.

Ack! Crick in theneck!

I woke up this mornign with a HORRIBle crick in my neck! :( :( :( If this keeps up I'm not going to be able to do ANYTHING tonight. :( A bit of googling about told me that I've sprained a ligament in my neck, rather than done damage to a muscle, so a massage or th elike isn't going to help ;\.. What...
