Thanks DonQuijote !

I want to avoid moving up the levels too fast, because it didn't work (for me !) in the past. So I thought maybe I could stay on a level while I make progress ( at D1, or D3).

We'll see ! The important thing is that I keep working out.

Cold showers

About showers ( orly mentionned them ) , you guys should try cold showers some time, they're great just after a workout.

Here's a website that compiles testimonies from people who have tried them :

Hi Ruli,

very good idea IMHO : I'm convinced it is counter-productive to try and move up the levels too fast.

Have fun with your workouts !

What about going back to earlier levels ? Trying to beat your personal bests ? The idea is that it might translate into better performance at your current level, by providing more varied and gratifying workouts. But, hey, I know the feeling... I did not break that plateau when I was at your stage, I...

Cool, thanks for your input vbm ! About what I wrote : your brain changes however old you are ( it is called neuroplasticity), by exercising you produce chemicals that facilitate these changes. it's more like : your brain changes according to your experiences whatever your age ( it is called neuro-p...

Exercise effect on your brain ? [ + Cold Showers/Baths ]

Hi everybody ! I re-started this program this very monday and missed L1D3 today because of blisters. Vibram five fingers : you need to adapt before you can run with them ! I can barely stand right now. I'm sure I've broken some kind of record with these blisters I have, they're huuuuge. Anyway. Late...
