Re: Reed913's Log

Been away from SF for a few weeks. Getting back on a regular schedule hopefully soon once I finished moving. I hate losing my progress, plus the holidays coming up. Been working out with weights off and on. Not really into it. Prefer SF. Things are super quiet on the boards. Hardly anyone posting wo...

Re: Reed913's Log

I did consider not taking the "rest" week, but I did step down to Level 1. Did 21 rounds which is a new record for me. Still kind of lame considering the numbers that others post but we all do what we can do. Next week I'm back to L2.

Re: Reed913's Log

Week 4 L2D1 = 19 rounds varied pushups somewhat wide and narrow L2D2 = 6:00 L2D3 = 6:28 Numbers better than last week. So that's an improvement. Wish my D1 rounds would improve more. My time getting from pushup position to the squat seems to take too long and I lose time. I blame it on my age ! Nex...

Re: nOObie & pull-up sub question

I'm going to let the other more experienced Simplefitters answer your question since I have only just completed my 4th week of SF. But welcome to the world of Simplefit. I think you will like it.

Re: Rosencrantz1's log

Since you may considering doing something different than SF here's something to look at: http://www.hotshotfitness.com/hotshotworkout.html You may have seen this already, but my brother in law is a police officer and he has been working on this program on and off and he likes it. Although it doesn't...

Re: Art50's Log

That's great doing 26 rounds on your first attempt at Level 3. You should be proud. Just think how far you have progressed already.

Re: Reed913's Log

Week 3 L2D1= 15 rounds -- got distracted with things going on in the house. Could have cranked out a few more. Oh well. L2D2= 6:22 L2D3= 7:04 -- last 6 pullups were brutal. Start Level 2 again on Monday. Really noticing bodyfat going away. Weight pretty stable. The Halloween candy is now appearing ...

Re: Kaos' log

Kaos, Reading thru your logs I saw you were doing body rows. Are you still doing them ? Do you sub. 3 for 1 pullup? My friend does rows and he has obtained some nice back development from doing them. I tried some the other day but trying to do them 3 for 1 slowed my time down especially on Day 1 the...

Re: Reed913's Log

Week 2 L1D1 = 20 rounds L1D2= 5:23 L1D3= 4:45 Decent week. Day 1 just smokes me though. I have no idea how anyone can do 30 + rounds -- amazing. Doing nothing extra other than walking to and from work everyday. Total walk time about 30 minutes. Also climb the 5 flights of stairs to my office. But t...

Re: Level1Day1's Log

Really good times you are posting. I'm on the same level as you. This is week 2 for me. Just finished my L1D2 circuit. Went pretty good. Was dragging on the squats during the last 2 rounds for some reason. Keep up the good work Level.

Re: Reed913's Log

Thanks for the welcome Art50 and KTG. Today I am starting week 2 still on Level 1. Now that I'm back at work this will be the true test of my endurance and dedication.
