L3D3
1min 34 sec
16 pullups, 33 pushups, 33 squats

So I am still feeling a bit sick but I was able to beat my previous time. I hopefully will be 100% for my level 6 week. I hope all of y'all are doing well.

Re: Chongtxtx's Simplefit log

So I pretty much have always done calisthenics and other bodyweight exercises. But I wanted to make sure that I started from level 1 so I had a base to measure against. Plus there is no harm at starting at the bottom let me build up safely and make sure my form is good.

Re: Brick_Top's Log.

Well if you are looking to add some size don't forget to eat lots of good calories greens, and lots of meat. There is also the GOMAD diet if you can find some good quality milk where you are. Don't be too concerned with the not making it to the next level this time. Your body is just adjusting at it...

Re: Martial artist wanted to start Simplefit

reddragon, I have been following the program for a little more than a month. In that time I have lost 5 lbs and my body composition has changed a bit my arms are bigger and shoulders are starting to get bigger as well. My cardio because of all the squats has improved quite a bit. I hope to post some...

Re: Martial artist wanted to start Simplefit

reddragon, Here is the webpage for the workouts http://www.simplefit.org/workout.html I would just start with level one and progress through the levels it's probably the best to do the workouts on M,W,F to give yourself ample rest. I am not a martial artist but this is the way that I am progressing ...

Re: DR03K's Training Log - Modified Simplefit

Awesome good job for losing the weight. I am trying to throw in some jogging just to do something more. I do like getting in yoga as well.

Re: At crossroads, how to proceed

One other thing I would add besides the eating is the need for some hardcore strength exercises. Primarily Isometric holds or maybe weighted calisthenics if you want to keep it bodyweightish.

Re: Can One "Get Huge" on Simplefit?

So I have been doing nothing but calisthenics for exclusively for a couple of years now and you can certainly attain that type of body if you haven't already. Key thing is caloric intake. If you are doing the work and putting in the calories the weight will come. I am 5'6 and weight 195lbs now mind ...

Re: Mark's delusions of physical fitness

I hope you have been keeping up with reaching your goals. I am currently on a quest of my own to drop about 30lbs I am 5'6 about 195lbs I can still run and do pushups and squats and pullups but I feel like this stuff would be so much easier without all the added weight. Keep up the fight.

Re: simplefit levels

Wow no replies. I started out L1D1 even though I am sure I could have jumped to level 6 or higher. I really just wanted to make sure my joints and tendons could handle the thousands of reps that were about to be thrown at it. I am still pretty new to simplefit but have always loved calisthenics.

Chongtxtx's Simplefit log

All right this will be rather long since I have been doing these workouts but haven't logged them here. I usually keep track of my workouts on the websites "log progress" function and my android simplefit app. So my first workout was started on: 2/24/2014 L1D1 53 rounds 53 pullups, 106 pushups, 159 ...
