... blades together. Practice how it feels when you flex your back as you move your elbows back. Practice doing a vertical pull using one arm at a time: use your free hand to reach behind you and make sure that your lats are flexing. Re: Workout vs Play Question

1) I play with my kids a lot, so monkey bars and climbing trees are a decent portion of my outside time (only every other week, when I get visitation with my kids, but still). Even though I'm only on week three, I didn't really notice it affecting my SF workouts (but it's ...

Re: Replace Day 1 with Day 2? (Do two Day 2's)

... cardiovascular fitness and endurance, I suppose you could do away with D1 and replace it with another D2. This will however have an effect on your time on D3.

I was finishing level 6 last time but because i am swapping normal press-ups for diamond press-ups I think I will drop down to level 4. I do alot of cycling (road trails, hills) ...

Re: Working around a wee niggle

My response this time is to use only narrow hand placement and slow reps. So, that is chin-ups only, hands slightly less than shoulder wide, no body swings, two seconds ...

Re: Anyone try Intermediate Simplefit?

... toes to bar or knees to bar as they are a crossfit standard. Nothing wrong with the static holds but I don't like the idea of doing something for time when I know that no improvement can be made on an exercise that holds for a set amount of time. Just a personal thing.

Re: Best time for workout?

Hi, I am in Level 5 now, which is quite awesome to me. I would like to build some more muscles, so I was thinking about putting 10kg (22lbs) into a backpack and carry this while doing all the exercises, at Level 1. Right now I weigh 70kg (154lbs), and did L5D3 in 8 1/2 minutes.....

Re: Can you 'break down' the sets on day 3?

OK! Next time I'll try stopping for a few seconds (so that the burn stops), and not really 'rest' in the sense of waiting for the heart rate to go down. Thanks!
