My Intro (awesome sight BTW)

I plan on posting my results weekly along with some thoughts or feelings on the workouts. I think that if I have a journal of sorts online that too may help me stay motivated ...

Wise decision over doing it can be as bad as under doing it. Balance and constancy will yield best results.

Agreed, the more you concentrate on food quality the better your results, the insulin regulating effects of IF will give you a little more latitude but over all keep it clean as possible.

samjackson's progress

... put me at 35+% down from a high of 39+% (that's almost obese). That is after 4 weeks of simplefit and fast 5 dieting. Those are gratifying results. I still do my pull-up assisted, either by jumping or with bands. I'm not planning on going above level 4 until I can do pull-ups unassisted. ...

... levels with the pushups and squats. Once it's only endurance I'm working on, THEN I'll move up. Anyone else have the length - weight ratio which results in VERY difficult pullups? At 6'4 and 235, I have a standing reach of 8'5. That's a long pull with some heavy weight. I imagine that as I "progress" ...

... like quite a bit. In just my normal diet though I get pretty close to that (~145) so I think I'll run with that for a while and see what kind of results I get.

First workout: Level 1. Where to next?

I completed 25 rounds in the alloted 20 minutes. I probably could have done 30, but I was taking it easy first go-round.

Now, moving on to workout #2, is it possible to gauge my appropriate level based on my first results, or should I continue this week at Level 1 ?

Adding some slow jogging is a good idea I think, I might try that too.

... a month, I also do high intensity for the first 10 mins then 20-30 mins in the fat burning zone atleast twice a month. Suppose to have similar results. To me it can get boring riding the bike foe 30-45 mins so these help break the cycle.

... for a month and see how it works for you. Some people eat every other day but that does not work for everyone and people seem to get the positive results using the 4-8 hr feeding window. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=pubmed&cmd=Retrieve&dopt=AbstractPlus&list_uids=12724520&query_hl=1&itool=pubmed_DocSum ...

Keep going and don't be dissuaded because of your weight. Do what can can while always trying to do a bit more. Good luck. Keep us posted on your results.
