Day 2 Timing?

Going to do the Day 2 workout this afternoon, but wanted to make sure I have the timing correctly.

You should only track the time you are actually doing the exercise and you should not add the 3 minutes of resting into the total timing, correct?

I guess it wouldn't make a difference, as long as you were consistent in how you time yourself. Guess I answered my own question.
