Don't know where you reside, but with winter coming, it may be a good time for indoor work like that. Simplefit will always be here for you. If you really want the weight lifting, and that will keep you going... go for it. Whatever makes you happy.
mind you, it's not for me, I'm a bit of a purist (and hate the gym), but I don't think anyone here would discourage you from going after what would make you feel better. Besides, we know you'll be back ;-)
