Greetings All:

I have a question about alcohol - beer in particular. This seems to be my biggest stumbling block. I drink 2 or 3 mircrobrews almost every evening. Usually more on the weekends. All other aspects of my nutrition are spot on Paleo/Primal. My weight seems to bounce between 195 and 200 and my fat loss seems very slow - assuming I'm actually losing fat at all!!! How much am I messing up my progress by continuing this lifestyle? Would it be best to not drink any alcohol while I'm trying to lose fat? I've always received mixed answers to this question and wanted some solid input from a few simple fitters...

you are consuming a very large amount of carbohydrates but it is a life decision and you must decide what is right for you personally. I think from a health standpoint 1 drink a day is probably a good compromise if you really don't want to give it up.
