Breakfast at 10am?

You have eat only between 10am and 6pm. Does this mean you eat what is on the sample menu for breakfast at 10am? Seems a little late for breakfast.

Not exactly sure what you are asking if anything, however the fact that you are here suggests you are looking to change some things and to change we need to adjust and change :) The positive impact that IF can have on you is amazing, give it a try! You may need to break some social conventions, but current research suggests it is worth it. I personally break my fast at noon and eat my last meal at 6pm.

I think what he's asking is the same question I have. According to your homepage, it says to eat only between 12 noon to 6 pm. But, if you scroll down further, the sample menu lists breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has ben instilled in us to eat three meals a day like you listed, but the question is, when do you eat them? What time do you eat breakfast, then lunch, then dinner? For example, we typically think of breakfast in the morning but you say don't start eating until noon, so when is breakfast, lunch and dinner in relation to IF?

You squeeze them all into that 6 hr window so breakfast at noon lunch at 3 and dinner at 6pm. Sounds funky I know but most people love IF after they adjust. If you are trying to drop weight you can just eat 2 meals 1 at noon and 1 at 6pm. Hope that helps.

As I understand: It is important to eat the same amount of food when doing IF as you would eat the usual way. So normally breakfast would be in the morning, lunch at 12 and dinner in the evening. When doing IF, you could do breakfast at 12:00,have lunch at 3:00pm and dinner at 6:00pm. You take your meals as usual, but in a very short time frame of 6 hours.

This does not work for everyone, you should experiment with it. There are some threads about it at crossfit and some do only a 16h fast and 8h timeframe
