I'm gonna try posting this for a few weeks or so to try and keep me honest. Comments are welcome.

about me:
Male, 38, 5'9", 192lbs, approx 20% BF (as of August 1)
My weight loss seems to have plateaued (still at 192) although I do still seem to be losing fat/putting on muscle, so it may not be an issue.

supplements/medications:
0.125mg synthroid (I have hypothyroidism)
4 x 1000 mg fish oil capsules
2 x centrum protegra multivitamin
also, the last bloodwork i had done around the beginning of the year said my cholestrol was high so the doc has put me on statins (i forget the exact dose) but I'd like to get off those if at all possible. I'll be getting bloodwork done again in about a month.

MONDAY, AUGUST 20

breakfast (pretty much the same thing every day):
omelette w/
- 3 omega3 eggs - 210 calories
- handful of spinach (about 1 cup) - 5 calories/3 grams of carbs/3 grams of fiber
- tablespoon of grated cheddar - 60 calories

3 cups of tea w/ 1% milk - 42 calories/6 grams of carbs

snack:
handful of cashews (about 2oz) - 310 calories/16 grams of carbs/2 grams of fiber

lunch:
chicken salad w/
- chicken breast - 370 calories
- 2 cups of salad greens - 15 calories/4 grams of carbs/2 grams of fiber
- tablespoon of grated cheddar - 60 calories
- tablespoon of pine nuts - 40 calories/1 grams of carbs
- tablespoon of poppyseed dressing - 45 calories/4 grams of carbs
grapes (about 25 or so) - 35 calories/8 grams of carbs/1 grams of fiber

snack:
nectarine - 70 calories/16 grams of carbs/2 grams of fiber

dinner:
top sirloin (approx 280g) - 700 calories (probably overdid it here, usually just have a chicken breast)
steamed brocolli - 35 calories/6 grams of carbs/4 grams of fiber

3 cups of tea w/ 1% milk - 42 calories/6 grams of carbs

postworkout:
smoothie w/
- 1 cup of frozen fruit - 50 calories/11 grams of carbs/3 grams of fiber
- 1 cup of 1% milk - 110 calories/12 grams of carbs
- tablespoon of flax seed - 37 calories/2 grams of carbs/2 grams of fiber

summary:
2236 calories / 95 grams of carbs / 19 grams of fiber

Looks good if you keep going like this you can probably get off the statins get you cholesterol checked after another couple of months you doc will be happy. I recommend straight fish oil over the caps most caps go rancid and you will never now it and if omega 3 oxidizes it is counter productive.
