I'm thinking about getting some of the Carlson's fish oil recommended on the site.

Any guidelines for how much to take?

I think they recommend to teaspoons a day on the bottle, just start with what they recommend and see how that goes for starters. Be sure to get the liquid not the tablets.

I take quite a shot of fish oil daily: 1 tbsp of Carlson's fish oil and 1 tbsp of Carlson's cod liver oil. Some people take even more. It depends heavily on how much you have to spend on supplements.

Thanks Kevin! I visited before and forgot to add it to my routine. Being a man of routine, it took me awhile, but I've added simplefit to my list of forums to visit daily. Great site you have here.

I recommend Blue Ice if you can find it. (I'm thinking of cod liver oil rather than just fish oil.) Carlson's started removing some of the Vitamin A from their cod liver oil. Blue Ice still sells the good stuff, with the natural levels of Vit A and D in tact. Plus, Blue Ice comes in cinnamon flavor, which masks the fishy taste better than anything else I've tried.
