Okay... need some help here. I have never been injured before. I been hurt, but not injured while training.
I was doing cleans with split jerks. My lead knee, which had been giving me some niggling pain all week, started to really hurt.
And then like the savvy athlete (read: goof) that I am, I said to myself "well.. I just have three left, then I'll stop." You can guess the rest of the story.
So my knee is pooched.
My doc and therapist think it is a torn meniscus. It hurts the most when I use the clutch. Walking... not so bad. Stairs, bad. Running -- bad, bad. Rowing --- bad, bad, bad.
I haven't worked out for three weeks. no crossfit, no simplefit or running (but can't avoid shifting). Just lots of gentle walking.
I foam roller and try to stretch.
HELP. Any suggestions?
PS: The dog is ready to disown me!
