I'm fairly new to all this and have been doing simpleFit for 3 weeks, currently on level 4. Problem is I am a fairly skinny guy and want to bulk up. I am also following the Paleo diet and have been advised over on Marks Daily Apple forum to increase carbs and do heavy weights such as deadlifts, squats etc. My local gym is not equipped to allow me to do these exercises, so I am wondering if I can build serious muscle doing these workouts and eating properly? or am I wasting my time. The area I want to really target is my shoulders because they look pathetic. Will handstand press ups do the job?
And to be honest I would much rather learn a amazing array of bodyweight exercises than just plugging away at the gym doing weights all the time.
Any advice welcome.
