SimpleFit iPhone App

Post by aserrr » Sun Mar 01, 2015 3:22 am

I'm happy to introduce an iOS app for iPhone/iPod
It's free and has no Ads.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/simplef ... ?ls=1&mt=8
Happy training!

App looks great, much nicer than the android one!
I'm contemplating a revisit of simplefit, but will definitely be using your app should I return.

Thank you very much for your work on this app.

One suggestion for improvement: I believe it would be great for motivation to have a detailed overview of the past performance. I imagine a system, like you would use on paper anyway, where you designate certain days of the week for the different sections (strength, judgement etc.). The app would then track whether you do the exercises on the designated days. You could even include a badge or point system to improve motivation. I believe these kind of hacks are the key to prolonged motivation (for some people at least). Freeletics uses this approach heavily and it seems to be working out for them.

Thank you for your suggestion.
If you have any ideas how to improve an app, feel free to describe it in details and even attach some images.
I need much more feedback from active users.

I installed the app, and it just closes on startup. Got iPhone 4S with iOS 7.1, no idea what's wrong.

I'll test in simulator and let you know.
Did you enable sending crash logs to Apple in Settings?

It was not where you said, but under settings -> general -> about, but I enabled that now. Hope you can get this issue fixed, I want to use your app!

Well, Apple's crash log is empty and it seems I can't install old version of Xcode which supports 7.1 simulator.
So I'll use Crashlytics for debug and beta distribution.
Will let you know when ready.
P.S. please send me a PM with your email address (for invitation to beta testing).

Loaded it a few weeks ago, used it once.

Changed phones and now can't find it to download.

Ooops, I forgot to renew an Apple developer account.
That's why the app has been temporary disabled in the Store.
