NEW FEATURE! A new way to track your workout logs

Hey everyone,
I've worked with Kevin in the last 2 weeks and created a new feature for tracking your workout logs with a few extra features.
First and foremost, it can be found here:
This URL will be available after some feedback and testing through a link on the main page, but for now it is for those who come here to read this post.

If you've already started your log (like me), don't worry, just enter in your information in order of when you did them. The log only tracks the order (by date/time) it was entered, not the specific dates/times. You will need to be logged into the forums to use it (it will prompt for a login if you are not logged in). There are graphical charts, not visible till you login.
Also, you will notice two options:
1) Display the complete log
This will show your log in order, days 1-3. Also, there is an option to view the breakdown by 'Week', but that is global and can only be turned on by Kevin. So if you would like a heading for WEEK #, please let Kevin know by replying here. If not, let him know as well.
2) Compare against others
This feature will look pretty useless if you have completed only 1 level and there are not many others who have entered their data. However, as people fill out the logs, and you move through the levels, it will be more and more rewarding.
There is some 'fairness' code, so that if you were on level 2, and another user was on level 4 usually, but on a rest week was doing level 2 (enter those in as well!) this week, they would not be compared to you because it would be skewed. It also compares you against recent entries, so as people change and move levels, join and leave, it will change.

Finally, it is only for workouts version1. People using the alternative workouts are out of luck for now, since they have different options for recording information (rounds/time).

Feedback welcome, and I hope you like it.

Now go fill it out! :!:

Super cool!

I was actually contemplating creating something like this with VB and Excel for myself. Now I don't have to.

Wow, 100% pure awesome. Great work guys. Awesome interface, easy to use, easy to understand. This really is one of the best sites I've found and this is a great new feature! Keep it up!

Damn that's sweet.

As soon as I get over these injuries I'll be sure to start using it!

Thanks man - keep it up!

Awesome work guys!

Any chance you could allow support for the optional workouts?

I entered data for days 1 and 2 only (Im just getting started) But no day 2 appears even when I hit view complete log. Just day 1 and Day 3. Am i missing something?

Day 2 should show up in the 'view complete log'. It is left out of the graphs because, well, it doesn't vary much. Most people take about 1 minute for each round, for around 5 minutes +/- 1min time, which is painfully consistent.

Past that, Kevin should read this and he'll pull a record of the database and see if the entry is in there and I'm sure post or PM you what to do. My guess is either the entry did not get submitted, or went in under anonymous. What was your entry (Level/Day/time)?

Makes sense. I figured it out now :)

Wow this is very cool, thanks to Andy and Kevin!

I am having trouble getting the charts to load though, I keep getting a timeout message or sometimes just the blank green screen. Could be because I am not on broadband?

Thanks, great feature.

It does use flash to load them, and I can see that a dial-up connection may timeout the file. That sucks, it's very cool if you get a bit more bandwidth. :) I'll see if I can extend the 'wait time' to load, but I don't think I can. I'll look into it for version2.
Oh, if you get the green grid but no data, it means you haven't entered anything in yet. Every time you enter something in, you should see it draw a new bar for you.

Thanks Andy

Yeah no hope for faster internet for me anytime soon, I am actually on 2-way satellite which is slightly better than the dial up I had but still not real crash hot. If you can extend the wait time that would be great. I know the figures are there because I got the day 1 chart to load once in compare to others mode but most of the time it comes up green.

Thanks for trying

Good news! I can probably double it from 30 to 60 seconds... will that be enough? I don't want to extend it too much longer... I'll see if I can get that added tonight, so try again in a few hours.

My day one chart is out of order. It has me at 4 level fours and 1 level five. when my log states the opposite. I am not sure if other's have this problem or not.
