Re: monkeyfunky's log
My daughter is sick and keeping us up at night. I'm taking a break until she's back to her normal sleeping pattern. I think I will start again with L3D1.

Re: monkeyfunky's log
I'm back baby.
Monday March 5: L3D1
43 rounds in 20 minutes
I used an underhand grip mostly due to some pain in my forearms from the overhand grip. I hope that pain goes away.
Weight: 176 lbs
Tuesday March 6
1 hour walk around town in the cold.

HA....I like your signature. Unfortunately I am about 10 lbs. heavier (see fatter) than you. I am hoping to get down to your weight again. Glad to see you back on board. It helps to see someone of similar progress. I should have skipped Level 2 like you, but it never occurred to me.

Re: monkeyfunky's log
Thanks Beaver... I see we have the same pain in the forearm... I'm going to try as you suggested and add some strengthening exercises for my forearms.
Keep at it and I'm sure you'll lose all the weight you want... I was hovering around 183 only a few weeks ago.
As for skipping I just thought that I might get bored if I wasn't challenging myself enough.

Re: monkeyfunky's log
Well I thought I was back into the swing of things but I guess my appendix decided that I needed a six week break instead. I just got released from the hospital this morning after surgery last night. Oh well I look forward to the challenge when I'm back to 100%.
Re: monkeyfunky's log
Good to hear you are ok. I had appendicitis when I was 10 and still remember the pain. Rest up and we'll see ya when you get back from healing up.
Re: monkeyfunky's log
Yowzers. That puts the forearm pains in perspective. Good luck with that recovery.
