I found something that actually makes my abs sore.

Ready?

Okay it involves me, first off.

Next, some sort of surface, ideally flat, and where gravity would normally put "the ground."

Third, swiss ball.

You see where this is going?

Stick with me, it might not be what you think.

Next, my old friend the push up, with the feetsies on the ball, and shoulders over the hand.

Bloody brilliant.

Any by "Bloody brilliant" I mean, holy hannah.

And by "Holy hannah" I mean, whoomp dere it is.

And by "Whoomp dere it is" I mean.... oh come on, does that one really need to be explained?

Oh Boy! I'm excited to be here. It has been years, far too long.

I just wrote a blog article about how I miss these workouts, so I decided to publically get back into them. Here is the link if anyone is interested: http://drtoniawinchester.com/how-to-get-fit-in-less-than-an-hour-per-week/

Today I did 21 rounds of level 5 with 2:1 assisted pull-up subs in 20 minutes for Day 1 of my new life :)

What you all been up to?

Good to be back. Good to be back.

Wooooeeeee!

That is some good stuff.

I did Level 5, Day 2, 2:1 chair-assisted pull-up subs (so 10 per round), and push-ups from the feetsies (as I do.)

Round 1: 2:07
Round 2: 2:13
Round 3: 2;13
Round 4: 2:29 (oooh... push-ups starting to slow down)
Round 5: 2:40

For a total time of 11:42.

I was still pretty sore from Tuesday's work out. Gooood stuff. (As mentioned).

Yes! Three times this week. Boom!

I did level 5, Day 3 with 2:1 chair assisted pull-ups and the rest normal: 11:30. - Stuff to work on there!

Now off to make bacon and almond flour pancakes for my husband's birthday breakfast meal.

Today I didn't do Simplefit because I was with my trainer. I did a TRX workout that looked like this:
15 inverted push-ups
2 sets of 15 single leg squats on each side
2 sets of 15 atomic push-ups
2 sets of 15 supported lunges on each side
30 elevated rows
2 sets of 15 slow, 15 fast sprinter starts on each side
2 sets of 10 T's, 10 Y's
2 sets of 10 swimmer's pulls, 10 low pulls
2 sets of 10 saws with crunches
2 sets of 10 oblique crunches on each side.

This may not mean anything to you if you've never done a TRX workout - heck, it hardly means anything to me. I just what I'm told. And then I collapse. YAY!

Woot! Loving this roll I'm on.

I did level 5, day 1 today.
So in 20 minutes I did 18 rounds of:
3:1 (that's more!) chair assisted pull-ups (so 9 per round, total of 162)
push-ups x 5 (total of 90)
Squats x 8 (total of 144)

TADA!!

How y'all doing?

I couldn't log in the other day so here are the last two workouts:

March 8/14
L5D2
3:1 chair assisted pullups (15)
2:17, 2:30, 2:20, 2:24, 2:24 for a total of: 11 minutes 55 seconds. That's pretty good considering I did 50% more assisted pull-ups than last time.

WOOT. PROGRESS. Love it.

March 10/14
L5D3
3:1 chair assisted pullups (39)
9:30. Also pretty good progress.

I love how quickly these work outs show improvement.

Don't ya think?
