Week 2 (Day 4 - L3D2)

Week 2 L3D2 (Monday)

5 pullups / 10 pushups / 16 squats under 4 mins.

some set backs, looks like over the weekend I gained like 4 lbs :shock:

hopefully it's all muscle!

Week 2 (Day 6 / Work Day 3)

Yesterday forgot to post that did Stairclimber about 1200+ feet rise, 80 fat and 260 burnt in calories for 30 mins.

Today, Week2 - L3D3

- Just under 5 mins total, did 10 pullups in a roll, then had to break the last 6 into 3 & 3 and the 33 pushups and 33 squats were cakes.

Week 2 (Day 7)

Retrolog for yesterday, which was Week 2, Day 7.
Because it was after L3D3, yesterday I felt tired and sore all day, and getting your blood drawn did not help. I was really suprised how sore my quads and hamstrings were especially, just from 33 squats the previous day.

So instead of doing some stairclimbing, I popped my P90X extreme AB DVD and followed Tony on TV and did about 300 situps, and now I am feeling the pain.

Week 3 (L3D1 - workout day 1)

Week 3 now, L3D1

My abdomen and quads are still sore, was only able to get 8 sets done and had to quit after 10 mins because my right arm is getting really swollen due my throacic outlet syndrome. Otherwise I was hoping to do 20 sets like last week.

Man, this week has been tougher, muscle be due to all the muscle fatigue...

The weekend:

Yesterday did a partial run of 1 mile or so with Maximus my husky with my wife trailing us on bicycle. Later that day, my neighbor finally got around to fixing our mutual fences, so we went to Home Depot and got the materials and started taking down the back fences... was a good workout.

Last night's weight < 170 lbs

This morning's weight ~ 168 lbs, which made my 22 week-pregnant wife upset, because very soon our weights are going to intersect, and she does not feel good about that :lol:

Anyhow, just finished a 30 min bike ride on my eBay won Trek 8000 bicycle, almost 10 years old rides still pretty well, and very light frame... now my legs even more sore than ever, not to mention my back feels pretty stiff too...

well, later, will be putting up rest of the fences... should be a good workout.

let hope I can keep this intensity up :!:

Backlog:

L3D2: < 5 mins, but the pullup forms are not perfect.

yesterday: stairmaster 30 mins, 1700 feet, 270 calories.

Week 3
L3D3: < 4 mins, able to do divide 16 pulls ups into 10 & 6, the form was not perfect but did make it up there, slight improvement than last week. Will stay here in level 3 until form is better and when pullups do not have to be broken up to be completed.

Wow, 10 pushups in a row is impressive !

I completed that same level but my pullups were more like 4+4+3+3+2 :D

Thanks for the positive encouragement!

Day prior to start of week 4, I was suppose to do the stairmaster but was too exhausted from planting more trees and moving rocks around to fence the trees so my husky doesn't dig it up.

Yesterday, Week 4: L3D1

18 reps total, my left arm got pretty swollen so had to do in between situps, 30/50/20 total of 100 situps in addition.

Today, just finished an easy 1.5 mile jog with Maxmius.

Far as for weight, it's been hovering just below 170lbs over past few days, that's probably because my wife's out of town and I am not eating all the left overs.

Yesterday was wet and ugly day down here in San Antonio.
Did about 300 ab crunches ~ 20 mins with my old P90X DVD... the alternating staight legs up/down sets always kills me; cycling legs forward / backwards also hurts...

I got one of those... Maybe I'll dig it out from somewhere and try it again... but this P90X DVD workout is 10x harder than the ab wheel...

Yesterday day was last day of week 4, the day prior managed to do 20 mins of stairmaster at endurance level.

L3D3 = < 3 mins. Pullups are still painful (literally) had to break it into 11/5; 33 pushups and squats were never a problem. Will move to Level 4 in few days.
