WEEK 7:

04/04/2012 Wednesday L6D1: 21 rounds in 20 minutes (I alternated chins, neutral grip, and pulls)....had to break up pullups into 2/1 reps towards the end. I am going to incorporate neutral grip reps to help with brachioradialis pain in forearms. It seemed to help as my arms weren't near as sore afterwards.

I never completed week 7 and through work and other obligation blah...blah...blah, I slipped off the wagon. I am back now and here are my latest results:

Level 5:

Wed. Day 1: 22 rounds chin/alt/pull split
Fri. Day 2: 7:36 chin/alt/pull split
Mon. Day 3: 5:05

Level 5:

Thu. Day 1: 23 rounds chin/alt/pull split
Sat.. Day 2: 6:03 chin/alt/pull split (I did these at home on my kids swing set in the morning before we headed to the lake. With a wide wooden beam, holy crap were my forearms toast for the rest of the day. It really brought a new dimension using more fingertips and forearms to hang on that grabbing onto a bar. I may have to do these more.
Mon. Day 3: did not complete, but went kayak fishing all day and grilled out with company afterwards

***I should note that after my laziness errr "layoff" after week 7, I no longer have any pain in either of my forearms.

Great work! That's interesting about the grip effects on your forearms. Little shifts can make a big difference in what muscles are engaged.
