I can imagine cranking all of the push-ups out in one set, but a single set of 32 pull-ups is beyond my imaginings. Great work!

Another Week

Level SIX

Day One 23 Rounds

Day Two 6:50

Day Three 5:08 PULL-ups 20, 12 Last two were sloppy but going in right direction

Push-Ups 32, 18, 12 Improvement am going close hands (hands near shoulders so elbows are almost touching ribs at bottom) Harder but better excercise I am Told

Squats 64 Still gasping for air

Next week is rest week going back to level Four and modifying push ups.

Man, your pull-up sets are fantastic! Enjoy your rest week...looking forward to seeing how your level 6 performance changes the week after next.

DAY ONE: 29 Rounds Stopped with less than 30 seconds I am using the Android app and wish I could copy Round times I am to lazy to enter them.
DAY TWO: 4 minutes 13 seconds
DAY THREE: 2 Minutes 10 seconds

I started using a close hand position for push ups and slowed me down some, on Day One for sure. The next day I was stiff and sore. Neither Day One or Two were best times for Level Four, Day Three was my best time for Level Four.

No rest required on day three but for some reason I was fighting to get shoulders over the bar on Pull Ups 19 & 20 and the last two or three push ups my left side was trailing the right side.

We will see what it is like next week when I go back to playing with the big boys :)

Still smashing it! There has been much discussion on these boards of whether level 8 is possible. You are definitely pointing in that direction. If you can do this at 70 with some diminished lungs, I can't help but extrapolate that at 30 with full oxygen you would surely be showing us how level 8 goes down.

Back to Level Six

Usually work out Monday Wednesday and Friday, Got about five minutes into it on Monday and quit. Was not going anywhere.

Day One (Tuesday): 23 Rounds Still a tough day Pulled weeds and pollen was a Problem

Day Two ( Thursday): 6 Min 12 sec Still working in the yard and blaming the pollen. Good to have a reason :)

Day Three (Saturday): 4 Min 33 Sec Pull-ups 23 & 9, Push Ups 34, 16, 14, Squats 64

Not a pretty day, think form generally sucked, No wind, I will still blame the weed pollen although I was working in the yard I pulled no weeds today. Prefer blaming the pollen than old age. The pollen will go away.

Think I will do Day one and two at level Seven but will continue to test at Level Six until I can do 32 Pull ups and 64 push ups with out stopping. I think I am improving with the close hand Push ups, and hope I can nail the Pull ups in a week or so.

Monday Level Seven Day One 20 rounds in 19:24 Was not happy until I checked my records and Previous Day ones were 14 & 16 rounds

Wednesday Level Seven Day Two 8 minutes and 5 seconds Rounds 1:41, 1:47, 1:39, 1:30, and 1:28 Does anyone else time get shorter as rounds go on. Must be getting sloppy with form.

Saturday Level SIX Day Three 4 min and 17 sec Pull Ups 26 and 7; Push Ups 42, 14 and 8 (last eight were really, really bad): squats 64

Still not happy with Pull ups and Push ups. I think I will work a little extra on Pull Ups this Monday and Wednesday. Want to get 32 Pull ups without a break then, I will work a little extra on the Push ups.

If I am correct in order to do level Eight Five minutes (5*60/250) = 1.2 sec/rep. Level SIX to to done at the same rate should take (64+64+32)*1.2= 192 seconds = 3 Minutes and 12 seconds

Well no rest for the wicked and I am resting 1 minute and 5 seconds to much. NOW THAT'S SPOOKY.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY I hear that Ft Bragg has 10,000 more troops this memorial day than last. Last year they were deployed. Remember them this weekend and always.

Will stop posting as I am going downhill.

Could be a repeat of Feb. Were I was able to recover over a couple of months.

Right now I can only do t wo or three pull ups before I am bushed.

See my neurologist next week. May get some help. Usually steroids will reduce any swelling, but I have not noticed any.

I will look at the logs.

Till I can get the body moving.

I have been working out for a few weeks but to lazy to post. Have started a Crossfit for over forty class. Enjoying it but no wind (COPD) other than that doing ok.

Day 1 Level 6: 28 Rounds PB 23

Day 2 Level 6: 5:32 Min:sec PB 5:32

Day 3 Level 5: 2:38 Min:sec PB 3:24 Much better time . Pull ups were ok but last 5 or 6 were KIPS. Push Ups did 43, fell on face, then finial 8. Squats were ok, no stopping but not pretty.

If I can do push ups with out stopping for rest, time should be close to two minutes. That shows under five for Level Eight is possible, though probably not feasible.

I am taking a few weeks of to visit family and see if I can do 51 push up with out stopping.

Back from a few weeks vacation.

No chin up bars, did a few squats and push-ups and had some wrist problems so did a few Push-ups on my fist. FEW is the important word.

Got back, caught up around yard and started.


DAY ONE 19 Rounds PB was 20 so was happy
DAY TWO 7 min 11 sec PB 8 min 5 sec Nice to be back
DAY THREE Could not finish Wrists were killing me on Pull ups was 10, 6, 4 and can't do it, Push ups were 5, 2 and switched to fist 10, 12, and this is stupid.

Think its Arthritis or Tendonitus "spelled wrong" See the Doctor this coming week. Over the holiday weekend its ice and pills.

Hope everyone's holiday weekend was GREAT

Week 32

After a long absence due to MS exacerbations I am back to square one. I have lost strength in upper body mainly left side. anyway my right side is better than the left.

I have have a few tries at level one but usually did not follow through. If I publish it I will probably keep trying.

Level One

Day One: 25 rounds Pull ups lower lip over bar, Probably 15 the chin made it, Push ups last few rounds left side was not doing it's share, Squats, think form was ok.

I will add day Two and Three as I do them.

Hope everyone had a good Summer and Fall. (I can no longer type :)
