Ok did the tabata principle run today.

Gonna be hard to judge so I'm gonna say I finished at House 103 heh.

I'll try to beat that next time.

Gonna call it R1D1 and just add days.

Once again work interfering with the workout. But I forced it in heh.

L4D2

Pullups with 10 lbs.

Elevated pushups

Squats with 24 lbs.

Also did R1D2 on Treadmill at work. forgot the freakin distance with just the 3 rounds dammit! got a mile with half the cool down in 9:40 though.

All in all not to bad. Had a back spasm or a strain from the workout today. I think I strained cause of the way I'm holding the weight on pullups. Oh well not too bad overall.

Really tighten your core on pull ups to protect your back.

whoo boy. too long a hiatus. two weeks. but the back feels pretty good.

L4D1

20 rounds.

Felt pretty good to start I hit 10 rounds no problem in less than 8 min. but after 12 slowed dramatically. Haven't gone down any rounds so i guess it's okay.
Really want to meet my goal of completing L5 before end of August. Guess we will see.

late entry for 16 Aug 2007.

Ok took it easy on L4D2. I was gonna do the pullups with 10lbs. OHS with 45lbs. and elevated pushups, but didn't want to strain the back again. Just did a straight run as little rest as possible.

First set was pullups with 10lbs.
all pushups were elevated
first set of squats were with 45lbs. bar. OHS. That crap is tough.

Anyway...

13:37

Talk about huffin and puffin. But I felt good. The pullups and pushups really feel stronger. Really want to incorporate the OHS into it.

Hey thanks! I hate setbacks.

Anyway went and bought a weighted vest today from Walmart. $50 for 20lb weighted. Not too bad actually. And... Of course dying to check it out.

So I put it on and measured out a mile with my gps. Then took a slow jog in 97 friggin degrees!

Psycho.... 9:53 ---> felt good except for the heat.
