Skipped to L1D3, so I can start a MWF routine on Monday.

L1D3
1:26

Wasn't as bad as I thought - was able to power through all 10 pullups (okay, chinups) without a break. Still going to start Monday on L1D1, but push it a little harder this time...

Really looking forward to doing this routine regularly. It's great stuff.

L1D1 -- 35 rounds

5 min. warm up (going through the motions)
Wrapped up with 30 situps
5 min. cooldown

Think that may be the most deadhang pullups I've ever done. Probably gonna feel that tomorrow...

Unintentional rest day - wife and baby came back into town, wound up spending the time with them instead of running. No regrets.

8/2/08

L2D3 -- 2:52

Amazing how just a few more reps can more than double your time...

8/3/08

Ran/walked 90/120s for 20 minutes.

8/4/08

L3D1 -- 26 rounds in 19:32

Pullup form was execrable for the last few rounds - kicking, groaning, squirming. Rest was okay.

Rest day.

8/8/08
Ran/walked: 2 rounds of 90/90, 3 min/3min
Ran hard on the 90s, easy on the 3 mins.

8/9/08
L3D3 -- 3:23

Next week I'll try the intermediate exercises for L3. Probably sub out the inverted pullups, not having quite enough faith in my own carpentry skills to believe my pullup bar won't send me crashing to my doom.

Then on to L4...
