Week 5, Day 1

Postby Tara » Wed Feb 04, 2009 3:50 pm

On the home page for the workouts it suggests taking 1 week a month and doing a sort of "rest" week, where you drop down a couple of levels. We decided to do that this week, so we redid L2D1.

We managed to improve to 46 rounds!! We were both tired, but did not race through it. It is amazing to see that much improvement in just 3 weeks.

We followed up with abs (roman chair twists, slow up-down crunches, reverse crunches.)

Week 6, Day 1

Postby Tara » Wed Feb 11, 2009 3:33 pm

Well, back to the regular schedule after the rest week. We did L5D1 and managed 31 rounds. It was really hard for some reason and I think we were both hoping for more.

We followed with abs that I got from P90X and You Tube. Kick outs, reverse crunches, and straight-leg cross over sit-ups.

Week 6, Day 3

Postby Tara » Sun Feb 15, 2009 11:54 am

L5D3 OH MY GOD!!!!!!! That was soooo hard. I had to stop and put my head between my knees at 40 squats, because I thought I was going to throw up. We both managed it in under 5 minutes, but I have a feeling next week will be the wall that takes time to get over.

Me: 4 minutes 48 seconds

Hubby: 4 minutes 23 seconds

We followed with abs (kick-outs, twisted kick-outs, reverse crunches, straight-leg cross body sit-ups) and then went for a 3.6 mile walk.

L6D1 today for 29 rounds. I felt much better this week for day 1, than last. Hopefully, that will continue for days 2 and 3 as well.

We followed with abs (leg raises, cross-body mountain climbers, sit-ups passing a weight back and forth.)

Week 7, Day 3

Postby Tara » Sun Feb 22, 2009 10:10 am

It was L6D3 (96 body rows, 64 push-ups, 64 squats) today. Not as bad as last week. I think the "rest" week was not good for me; it just seemed harder to get back into my rhythm, but maybe I did this week. I still felt like I was going to throw up after, but made it through.

Me: 4 minutes 55 seconds

Hubby: 4 minutes 35 seconds

We followed with abs (leg raises, cross-body mountain climbers, sit-ups passing a weight back and forth.)

Week 8, Day1

Postby Tara » Wed Feb 25, 2009 3:22 pm

It is day one, once again. I know I said this last week, but I think this will be the week we get stuck on for a while. Going up in all 3 (12 body rows, 8 push ups, 12 squats) was much harder endurance wise. Normally, I feel great until about 20 and then start getting tired, today it was around 12. Oh well :)

L7D1: 24 rounds
