since starting SF, my routine has always been monday D1, wednesday D2 and friday D3. this week i however changed my routine and did D3 this morning. i felt that the extra rest day did me the world of good in that my body had one more day to recover before tackling the all important D3.
so, it was L2D3 this morning and it went like this:
chin-ups: 4; 3; 2; 2; 1; 1
push-ups: 26
squats: 26
time: 3:30, viz 5:07 the previous D3.
chin-ups went surprisingly well, although i struggled a bit with the last three to get my chin properly over the bar.
although i did the push-ups in one go, i had to stop momentarily after 20 reps for brief second or two before continuing. i didn't get up, but merely paused.
squats were also done in one go, but i could definitely still feel the pain in my legs from the week's workout. if i had done D3 on friday, i'm sure i wouldn't have been able to do the squats in one set.
although i struggled a bit with chin-ups towards the end, given my time for the workout, i'll move on to lvl 3 next week. i suspect that i'll be on lvl 3 for more that the 2 weeks i've been on lvl 2, but i suppose that's the nature of the beast!!!
