my friend was at a fitness seminar last night and the instructor was talking about the myths of Gatorade vs Water. He basically said people that lift don't need any sugars for lifting. Isn't this untrue? How can our bodies not need/use sugars when lifting hard?
I know for a fact that when I drink gatorade on a heavy chest/tricep day, drinking gatorade while I workout keeps my motor running more than water.
