if your form is 100%, i.e. you are doing the exercises perfectly correct(and i'm by no way suggesting you are cheating), i'd say you can lvl up to L5. it is pointless doing 40 rounds on D1, you'd get no, or minimal, exercise.

40 rounds? again? Wow!

You should be comfortably below 5 on D3 (again) so it may be worth trying L5 as Ruli suggests.

Thanks guys. I just did L4 D3 in 3:41:55. So I guess I will start L5 on Monday. I like to keep the Mon/Wed/Fri thing so that I don't combine it with my runs. Do you see a benefit in me doing L5 D3 this Friday just to see what happens?

Thanks
Brian

Personally, I'd say yes as I suspect you'll be just under 5mins.

My understanding is D3 is the gauge by which you work out whether to move up a level, so I don't see much point in doing D1 & D2 if you think you should be on a higher level.

Then L5 D3 tomorrow it is and I will see what I see. If I get to that one under 5 minutes I will start L6 on Monday.

Suli, Thanks for the concern about form. I am pretty sure that I am doing it right even though I would not bet a lot of money on it since I am not viewing from the outside. I do know that I sometimes do my pullups with my knees tucked into my belly. I know that isn't a strict pullup and more like a partial L. I am going to try (after Friday's test) to start doing the pullups with my thumb not wrapped around the bar and see what happens.

Thanks again gentlemen. I like to kind of know where I am.

Brian

L5 D3, I did this in 4:01. I did the last pullup twice since it wasn't pretty. Pushups and squats weren't to bad but I don't think I could have done too many more pull ups. So what say ya'll L6 D1 on Monday?

I agree, looks like L6 is the right place for you (for now).

For him maybe! L6 is light years away as far as I'm concerned.

I wouldn't worry about your time on D2. Just concentrate on getting the form 100%, you'll get more out of it that way.

Glad to see you've found your level. Enjoy it.

Thanks DonQ, I can guarantee that I was not enjoying it during that 8 min's.
