It was painful enough for me just reading that you're doing L6 :D

I do admit that the pushups surprised me more than anything. By round 3 or 4 I would be rockin' until about 10 and then had to take a mini set break as I felt I was about to fall on my face...LOL.

Did L6D3 4:46. However, I think I will stay at this level for at least next week. I wasn't happy with the way the pullup's ended up (not pretty and 1 at a time..rest...1 more...rest....1 more....downright ugly).

Yeah, I'd be disappointed with that time too!

I am glad you are on my side with that Don. I am going to do L6 D1 again today and do it s-l-o-w-l-y to insure lockout on the pull ups.

I was also wondering since I see it in some peoples logs: Can you stop the clock during D1 and D2 to take breaks? Seems like nonsense, but hey if it is legal I am in.

L6 D1 25 rounds. I took my time on the pull ups so that I was SURE I was at full lockout.

I just read round 2 rules. I supposed to be resting between rounds? Geesh, That might change things on day 2 since I just go through 5 rounds as fast as I can.

No stopping on D1 - just do as many reps as you can.
D2 - stop as much as you need (this is why people say not to time) to concentrate on form.

L6D2 8:14 seconds for 5 rounds. Took time and made sure I had full hang on Pull ups.

L6 D3 4:59:57. Just barely made it...whew. I blame it on the 7 mile run before hand (poor planning on my part). Actually I was supposed to run yesterday but I started rebuilding the valve body in my truck transmission instead of running yesterday.

Few typos there I think. Don't you mean:

Not bad for a 35 yo fit guy?

Oh to be 35 again...Wait a minute I wouldn't be retired yet..Never mind. I have read that if you lose 10% of current bodyfat that you will instantly double your pull ups. Now if I could do that over night I could prove it...:). I say fat since I have gained 16 lbs since I quit smoking 7 months ago and I hate it...
